Philharmonic Karola Szymanowski in Krakow, a cultural institution dealing with the organization and presentation of classical and popular music concerts. It was established as the first one after World War II. Krakow philharmonic organizes not only symphonic concerts, but also master recitals and educational concerts for children and youth. The specialty of the repertoire of the Krakow Philharmonic has become oratorios, the presentation of which is possible thanks to the extensive performance apparatus- an orchestra, mixed choir and boys' choir.

Challenge

Designing a friendly interface for different age groups and creating an extensive reservation system for a respectable public institution.

Objective

Preparation and implementation of a website that meets all the assumptions, including an efficient and easy-to-use ticket booking system.

Course of cooperation:

Getting to know the client's needs, creating initial assumptions, prior to analyzing the current philharmonic website.

Based on the initial assumptions, a detailed plan and description of the project were created.

Preparation of the first prototypes. Constant consultations between the designer and programmers. As a consequence, the views of the most important subpages were created, which was the basis for further works.

Design of all screens, taking into account details and exceptional cases. Sending the initial project to the client, expecting the feedback and readiness for making adjustments.

The website is coded and sent to the client for testing phase and final approval.

After considering all remarks the project is successfully implemented.

After logging in to the system, the roofer has access to all the prizes that can be exchanged for the points. The number of points accrued for purchases is updated each time the roofer makes a purchase in a traditional store and is displayed at the top of the application. The system provides for a possibility to choose prizes and exchange points. If the number of points is not sufficient, it is possible to exchange all available points and pay the lacking amount.
